Arthur’s jargon buster
What does “Deliverables” mean?
The things you have agreed to produce.
“The work has acquired an impressive plural.” — Arthur
In context
A report, finished web page or set of drawings could all be deliverables. The word does not tell you what is actually due.
A clearer version
“Send the draft report and three designs by Friday.”
Where it gets vague
List the actual items and the date instead of relying on a broad label.
